Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure that involves using a small handheld tool to create hair-like strokes in the skin. The process begins with a consultation to determine the desired shape and color of the eyebrows. We will then numb the area with a topical anesthetic before beginning the procedure. Using a small, sterile blade, we create tiny incisions in the skin, followed by the careful deposition of pigment into the incisions, resulting in natural-looking hair strokes.
The process can take up to two hours to complete, and the results can last up to two years with proper care and a 6-8 week touch-up. After the procedure, the area may be red and tender for a few days, but most people are able to resume their normal activities immediately.

DOES MICROBLADING HURT?
We got you, babe! We'll pamper you with a numbing cream before we work our magic, ensuring your comfort throughout the process. Sit back, relax, and let us do the rest. Please note that pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the entirety of the procedure. Most clients say it does not hurt at all! However, keep in mind that you will be more sensitive on your menstrual cycle.
Is Microblading a Tattoo?
Well, yes and no.
Webster dictionary defines a tattoo as “a mark, figure, design, or word intentionally fixed or placed on the skin”. Microblading is considered to be a semi-permanent tattoo and requires multiple sessions to keep up, whereas a typical tattoo done by a machine will last you forever.
HOW LONG WILL MY MICROBLADED EYEBROWS LAST?
Your new brows can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months with proper care. Keep them looking fierce with regular touch-ups (we recommend every 4-8 weeks). Frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including sun exposure, chemical peels (glycolic, lactic, etc.), how active the client is, and how fast each individual's cell turnover is.
Please note that final results and time frame cannot be guaranteed as each skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates.
WHAT WILL AFFECT MY NEW BROWS?
Sun exposure: The sun fades the pigment faster so sunblock & hats should be your new best friends! (Besides your beautiful new brows)
The regeneration of skin cells: The longer the regeneration takes, the longer the pigment holds.

Please send a photo of your eyebrows makeup free and in natural lighting to browsbymariapulido@gmail.com so that we can see if we can help. If your brows are too pigmented to work on, we suggest using an exfoliating acid like glycolic a few times a week to fade the old tattoo faster.
